The J-80 SPEED Jib fills the slip as the AP jib onboard the J-80. The shape and fiber layout has been optimized to best use the class rules. The membrane construction and smooth luff entry provide an incredibly stable sail shape, making for tight sheeting and a clean slot upwind. While the top batten can still be precisely controlled and flicked open and the sail eased off for more power through chop.
